One of Wade's biggest arguments is that (and this is an oldie but goodie...) the FCS is strange because it has those two CGG codons coding the arginines. Now, take a look at the Feline CoVs - first R is coded by CGG too. Totally sinks that entire argument. What do we see if we analyze the ~1.5 million genomes? CGG is found in 99.84% of all sequences at that site. Not exactly unstable. I can go to bed now.
