Well done @Kristian Andersen - !channel let's hit them with some hard science with the cambobat post. Eddie nearly has it cleaned up nicely...
-
@Eddie Holmes - do you know if this particular email will be made public as part of your FOIA? It reflects well wherewe stood early in our research. [shared file(s): Screen Shot 2021-02-14 at 11.12.37 AM.png]

No. The FOI request wanted emails related to the papers. As this is before the paper I didn't include it. But we couldof course release it ourselves if necessary.
-
@Kristian Andersen Ah, okay. I'll leave this under wraps for now - but once we have the list of emails to be released,we might want to put out a few of them with some context. They'll be noticed, no doubt.

Agreed. There's a few that I can also release.

Very interesting figure! [shared file(s): EuNejqhXcAUjMGC.jpeg]

What's wild - two doses of Pfizer leads to greater neutralization against SARS-CoV than B.1.351 according to this figure. That's wild.\
-
And IMO - highly suggestive of lower overall antigenicity of B.1.351 - i.e., a more general mechanism of (Ab-mediated) immune evasion.
-
Kind of surprising to me -P1 takes a hit, but B.1.351 is bad. Does it suggest that the B.1.351 NTD mutations D80A[DorA?). D215G (DouG, Jr?),R246I (RidhI?) may be more problematic than EriK????
