    Yes, but I think your first approximation is pretty spot on - taking a look at the nucleotide alignment - maybe a case where the protein alignment gives a slightly different picture than the nucleotide alignment. - as ProfBill often saysyou can see the "wobble" codons. That's natural evolution of course not nonsense like the WIV supervillains creatinga fake set of SRA data to cover up their GOF/bioweapons program.
