Malware to crack my computer and get access to all the incriminating messages from CCP.

May be better to just revert to using your HP-87. Probably good to go for another 30-40 years at least.

the proCoV2 genome sequence in FastA format at http://igem.temple.edu/COVIDn19, which is the same as the
NCBI reference genome with base differences corresponding to 1 - 3 mutations at positions 18060, 8782, and
28144, as discussed in the main text. In this mutation graph, COI for each variant is shown next to the arrow.

Lineage A?

[Kristian Andersen]
No, B. I'm perplexed by that paper - didn't read it in detail, but I don't think they can really do what they do. So many
reversions observed during the pandemic and associated dates and biases in sequencing early on likely majorly
bias interpretation. @Andrew Rambaut, did you get a chance to read it?

I couldn't face it. I would just get annoyed

Agreed. It's a very interesting question, but exceptionally hard to answer - working on some very early attempts with
Joel + Marc.

Wait, I think the "ProCov" is an A lineage - false classification on my end... That said, I'm not sure I trust the
sequence at all - it's basically WA1 with a couple of additional (random?) mutations and then, mysteriously, quite a
number of indels. :man-shrugging:

This should be interesting [shared file(s): upcoming letter]

Would definitely be interesting to see it. Don't like the passive aggressive bit about the UK papers breaking the
embargo.
