Just to note I am on another email chain with McNutt Tony Relman and a few others following the WashPost article yesterday. Nothing ominous - but who knows what a dedicated DRASTIC look would find.

In context

A single line often inverts meaning once you see what it answers, so neighbouring messages are always shown.

I hope nobody responds back to this email, because I don't want to have a discussion about rooting a tree on an email chain that will be FOIAd. Trevor really should know better.

Is this worth a response - they totally do not get that the WHO report points to multiple markets. [shared file(s): image.png]

Agree about the FOIA stuff - is there some other channel to get this info to TB - JB was told but didn't pay attention.

We'll focus on getting an actual paper in place - why they think that this pandemic was caused by a single introduction into the human population, followed by perfect sampling, I don't know. Rasmus is excused for believing that, but Trevor? Plus, the issue of reversions. Andrew, you need to train your people better .

    Eh? What's that about?

Marcia McNutt sent a long email about climate change. Basically everyone is on it that's quoted in the WashPost piece except Angie for some reason. So, it's the weather plus the attacks on science and scientists - I put up one ofmy emails in the WashPost thread - it has a not so subtile dig for Relman's benefit.
