" Just asking questions, but how does JB know that inoculating a PPP via novel routes into an animal that has a very human like receptor distribution isn't going toselect for a new and more transmissible variant.     Not yet. Nothing on GISAID. In no particular order of likeliness: B117 with some additional mutations, B16172 with some additional mutations (Nelly?), a contaminated sequencing, mixed infection, recombination
