Separately - can I just point out that it's 85 degrees in San Diego today. I thought it was winter..?! :beach_with_umbrella:

In context

A single line often inverts meaning once you see what it answers, so neighbouring messages are always shown.

It'll be interesting to see if the whole zoo goes down with covid....

@Kristian Andersen We are building a website that will track 'constellations' rather than variants. Combinations ofmutations of known or predicted importance. Were you can cross cut the data to see where those combinations have arisen and in what contexts (independent of the phylogenetic history).

@Kristian Andersen Yeah, that'll be important to have, however, I'd love to have a way to "look up" particular mutations - e.g., E484K telling me it increases affinity and is involved in immune escape - so more on the functional side to make sense of the phylogenetic data. Would be similar to Jesse's 'maps', but with much more information. Not an easy task at all though...

Would be sad - my three favorite zoos happen to be in NOLa, San Diego and Sydney.

Possibly the second best thing on Twitter today (after Andrew's Variant Rant) https://twitter.com/mbeisen/status/1350181257313882112?s=20

I guess Mike won't be invited to comment on the microbial programs...
