Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm looking at he sequences correctly all that was done is to fill in 15nucleotides at the 5' end of the RaTG13 genome. Everything else is 100% the same. The ends are the hardest part right? Thats why many "near-complete" genomes are missing nucleotides at the end, for example Bas-Congo virus, and the Ekpomas. Yet, Alina and the DRASTIC krewe are conflating and combining this very minor change toRaTG13 with her perceived "problems" with all the pango sequences. [shared file(s): image.png]
