He didn't ask many questions because he spent all his time telling us what to think

Haha, that's right. I guess maybe this is my chance to cash in if I flip.... Hmmm - sorry guys, I'll have to throw you
under the bus too. :man-shrugging::moneybag:

No worries. I'm just surprised we've not yet been blamed for the invasion of Ukraine

[Kristian Andersen]
Oh, I'm sure we'll hear about that shortly. I'll ping my DRASTIC friends.

Tony's quote is great. He really didn't say much at all and I don't remember any specific questions from him. Francis
said even less (Francis was at some sort of party). Jeremy said a few things, but mostly just by way of organization.
It was mostly a round robin of the other scientists - starting with Kristian. I talked about the FCS [noting FCSs had
been inserted before] and the O-linked glycans, which even at that early date didn't seem engineered. Decidedly a
mixed set of facts that could swing in a number of different directions with more data. Ron and Marion in particular
were pretty outspoken that it had to be natural.

That's my best recollection. Tony said VERY little - Francis even less, if anything. They truly were there to listen.

Sounds accurate to me

To listen and then give Kristian $8M

Sorry for nonresponsiveness @Kristian Andersen - offline for a bit of work on the house while Jeanette is still in
Geneva helping Stefani with Abi. This is probably an ignore all the way around for the reasons cited in the general
thread. First priority - Let's continue to absolutely bullet-proof those papers and fight like hell to get them into
Science. My guess is she will try to contact the editors there and that will indeed be worth a fight. Bottom line is that
these 2 papers are devastating to 4$ and the leakers. Let's claim that victory.

I very much doubt that Caroline will be responsive to an email from her.

[Andrew Rambaut]
I think it would just encourage her

Yeah - agree on both points!
