@Kristian Andersen @Robert Garry Given we are doing another dive into the 'quirks' of the genome - I have noticed the 'variable loop' is bracketed by 2 of your labelled restriction sites - EcoR1(1336) and Scal(1538). Just saying... ifyou wanted to insert an RBD, perhaps you would just insert the variable loop. Of course it is in the Laotian genomesso that would then support the reverse zoonosis hypothesis!
