And this very key point - which was Zhengli's point too... I wish more people would understand this. https://twitter.com/acritschristoph/status/1392556682157326336?s=20

Please, please, please do yourself a favor and go through these - he is tearing apart Alina, The Seeker, and all the other Bloomshitters. He is so unbelievably good - I mean, I have a fair bit of experience in this space having battledcreationists for years, but this is just well beyond my skill set.https://twitter.com/acritschristoph/with_replies

He's a super-star. I noticed all that stuff about Rs8561 etc. the other day. No where near SARS-CoV-2. All this searching online and they have found nothing closer than RaTG13. I wonder why.

One would think SARS-CoV-2 would have been in that 2019 thesis had they had SARS-CoV-2 in the lab.... It's just extremely dumb - and Alex is very very good at laying that bare. Jesse went on about these "missing viruses" too - I pointed out to him that they are nowhere near SARS-CoV-2 and totally irrelevant as it pertains to the origin. I think he might have ignored me.
