"Interesting evolutionary stuff going on on the African continent..." Yes indeed - "interesting evolutionary stuff," "long hidden history," low case loads in SubSaharan Africa, possible large pool of pre-existing (cross-reactive) immunity. Definitely need to sort out what is going on in Africa....
