    @Andrew Rambaut - have you guys looked into this new variant some more? I don't understand all the mutations in ORF1ab - it seems very peculiar. Limited overlap with previous variants too.

    Possibly, but many/most(?) of these mutations appear to be rare point mutations. It's a real franken lineage - very interesting.
