    Military research. So idiotic. The reality is that the only shot the west had at looking at WIV was the WHO trip and that was a one off.     The SC2 positive grate under your raccoon dog cage is all I really care about at this point. Plus I am pretty sure Iheard that most of the other SC2 positive environmental swabs were taken the stalls where they sold the live animals. That's a pretty big coincidence - the virus leaked from the WIV precisely all the way to that grate that had just been under a live animal that just happened to be in a market selling wild animals. I predict another move of thegoalposts however - CCP must have planted the samples there.

    Can somebody please tell me how this is _any_ different from natural emergence? Because it's associated with research activity? A very specific low probability event compared to the alternative scenario... It's so dumb.
