@Eddie Holmes Would be good - he'd doing a fine job under difficult circumstances. Daszak seems to like to stir thepot....mixing in too much Ego *hey he says - I'll talk to Biden set him straight).

@Eddie Holmes Agree with DD that it would have been good to have more epi data about early cases. Seems like an opportunity lost - but I sorta get it. If they came out and said no epi links of early cases to WIV, then the conspiracy theorists will just cry cover-up. And, any case within 100 km of WIV is going to be taken as conclusive evidence for the leak in the literal sense.
-
@Eddie Holmes Hoping to see the argument fleshed out that there is no evidence that WIV had and was working on SC2 or a 99%+ CoV before the outbreak. Logically there no reason that they would have not revealed this, and instead released the 96% CoV RaTG13.
-
@Eddie Holmes Also - and we can prompt this on Virological (if Bob can figure out proper invites on Google docs) that the new Cambo, Thai and Japan viruses totally obliterate the DRASTIC/Alina nonsense that RaTG13, RmYN)2 and the pango viruses are contrived.
