    We are currently looking at whether 484K is starting to appear more frequently (in multiple backgrounds) than it did before or whether we just have more cases and more sequencing.

    For your case I would say it is irrelevant with respect to action that it is a recent cluster - just that it has 484K. I.e., itis not a 'cluster of concern' but it has a mutation of concern.

    If you look at the number of States that cluster spans - it does suggest widespread transmission in the US.
