You did. I think the message of the article holds up - mutations are gonna happen, get over it - but I think the title might need some revision ("we shouldn't worry about most mutations, but some will be a fucking pain"). At leastvirulence hasn't changed.

Wild discussions about this currently - I think it's bollocks. I can't see any single lineage (in the tree) driving enough transmission in the US to explain current surges. Then again, we don't exactly have COG-US...

Probably good to point out that SC2 is damn good at super-spreading already.
