With long stretchs of local high similarity toRaTG13 should put the Mojiang mine story on the back burner. Still think that the WHO and Lancet "investigations" are going to do more harm than good. This AP article is not changing my mind.

@Eddie Holmes I think the NYTimes story is good and it has one great part - talking about the release of the sequence on virological :+1::skin-tone-2: also for @Andrew Rambaut as well for heading the world's most influential virology "blog." What's "confusing" me is that Eddie is supposed to be a CCP running dog at least according toDRASTIC/Alina et al. I know that there has been other discussion about the seq release, but hope the NYT article further chips away at that notion that we're somehow under the influence of the CCP.
