    I really don't understand this angle. If I was in their shoes I'd focus on "rapid detection", "alerted the world quickly", and "we have shown how to bring it under control". Ample space to tweak key events to fit the CCP agenda...

    The Guardian did a decent job - hopefully NYTimes does it right as well. Speaking from my narrow perspective the worst part is the amateur serology. Cross-reactivity information is actually quite important, but those studies have tobe done very carefully and interpreted even more carefully. No way though the serology tells you that SC2 was inItaly before China.
