I am not that surprised - there is not much she could do other than give a warning the reviewers (and she doesn't know for sure which one it is). I think it is just good that she knows about this in case DT tries to contact Nature tomake a complaint or something (unlikely as that would remove his anonymity).

In context

A single line often inverts meaning once you see what it answers, so neighbouring messages are always shown.

A total nothing-burger email from Clare. I don't think this is the appropriate action from Nature so I suggest writing back to her saying that we would like a little more to be done here, including contacting the reviewers to better understand the breach. I'd cc Skip this time. [shared file(s): RE: Breach of reviewer confidentiality - leaked tojournalist]

I suggest just replying and saying thanks we just wanted to her to know that there was someone trying to cause griefin case she got embroiled in it. I can't see any benefit in demanding anything from Nature - we don't want them to beupset with us.

@Kristian Andersen Are you able to do anything? Or do we just press the transfer to MedRxiv button?

@Kristian Andersen I unfortunately can't do anything on my end - I only get the paper once it's through the first step. Does it have human data in it? If yes, then MedRxiv is required

@Kristian Andersen Whether someone is dead or not?
