Yup, that's the Parisite Plan - no work allowed. They clearly sent their letter to newspapers all over the world.

Oh wow, reasonable people actually still exist? That's cool.

Good letter. This whole debate will shift after the WHO report is released. I'm not exactly sure how, but we will entera new phase?

If they have the 'grate' data in there I think we should forcefully come out and make it clear that this is over - the evidence is clear. This is exactly the type of evidence that we have been looking for and we need to push hard todiscredit people like Alina as conspiracy theorists - because that's clearly what it becomes if WHO has additional data. We have been too gentle on those accounts up until now.

I might also chose to call out the Broad for "lending credibility to fringe theories".

Nice - yes, we should definitely expand on this. Once that WHO report is out, I think we might want to get towards publication of PO2. Let's have a Zoom call after the report is out. To be clear - IMO PO2 wouldn't need to consider anything that has to do with a lab.

Bloody awesome! I agree Kristian - if the WHO report says what I heard from EgoHealth then I think we should push hard in public against the Parisites.

Origins and evolution of SARS-CoV-2? Could include some things about pathways to the variants as well I think. Itall relates - SC2 more pantropic than human adapted, but its getting better at infecting us.

O-glycans included here in the N terminus, but also some "new" ones near the S1/S2 junction. Hard to think that thisis all just coincidence.

Thanks Bob! There's another close bat CoV on GISAID - PrC31 I think. Also from Yunnan. This is from the China CDC. Paper being written up apparently.

@Andrew Rambaut - reading the most recent PHE report on VOCs/VOIs (so good!), is it fair to say that non-B.1.1.7 VOCs just aren't that successful in the UK compared to B.1.1.7? Enough data to make that conclusion? Separately, is it fair to say that B.1.1.7 lineages with mutations such as E484K don't appear to be any more successful than 'vanilla' B.1.1.7?
