It's disgusting.

@Kristian Andersen - thanks for posting the Metzl piece. I will give him credit for becoming more forthwith - at least
he's upfront now with clearly laying out that it's a cover-up and conspiracy. I'm more ok with that than the Relman
doubletalk. I'm moving this over here to the executive group off record. I just this morning did a long interview for
ABC Nightline - they mentioned that Metzl (maybe Relman likely Carrol and Koopsman all) on it. I'm guessing that
what Metzl put up there is the same script he gave Nightline. Was I successful in rebutting - we'll see - always at the
mercy of what may drop on the cutting room floor. post-interview I got the impression they liked what they heard. Got
this from the producer as well. [shared file(s): image.png]

Just saw the other post from Metzl - he's also a liar and thug.

Yup - but unfortunately not enough to sue.

Plus you're a public figure. Bar higher. You thereby have to prove actual malice (not just that what was said was
false) - in this case perhaps not so difficult.

Sharri as well.

We just have to accept that people like Jamie will win in the short-term, knowing that science will ultimately prevail.
I'm fine with that.

Somebody emailed me about this - I'm wondering if we/I should try to engage Gavin Schmidt. He got caught up in
the "Climate gate" shit, so he might have some advice.... [shared file(s): E3PTjDjWQAI5T29.jpeg,

Hi Robert,
I'm a reporter with the Daily Caller News Foundation. I'm reaching out to all the scientists that worked on the Nature
Medicine paper "The proximal origin of SARS-CoV-2" about an op-ed published in the Wall Street Journal on
Monday by Drs. Steven Quay and Richard Muller claiming the available science suggests a Wuhan lab leak.
As one of the scientists that contributed to the paper concluding that no laboratory-based scenario for COVID-19's
origins are plausible, I was curious if you had any thoughts on their argument. Are Quay and Mueller missing
anything here? My deadline is end of business Wednesday.
