Things have moved so fast, I am not sure what we originally intended is the right course (i.e., letter to Nature etc addressing the Bloom letter). Should we be addressing the points being made by Wade and all - i.e., the arginine codons etc? I have heard a lot of people thinking this stuff is real science. In my ideal world we would have a doc that peels off the more credible scientists (eg. Worobey) that have spoken out in favor of Lab Leak. Somehow encourage then to get past the superficial data that the outbreak started in Wuhan that has the WIV. The Evidence doc - I think could be used to address the CGGCGG nonsense, 2-3 sick WIV employees etc.. I'd make it a standalone supplement doc, but also a living doc - somewhere - not sure virological is best but a possibility.. I'd love to have her explain exactly what version of the lab leak isn't a conspiracy theory - I certainly can't think of any. [2021-06-08 11:07:25] [Kristian Andersen] I think I can see where her article is going - "the lab leak debate was silenced by labeling those believing in it as conspiracy theorists".
