Origins and evolution of SARS-CoV-2? Could include some things about pathways to the variants as well I think. It
all relates - SC2 more pantropic than human adapted, but its getting better at infecting us.

Also working on an update to Holmes2021 virological post - including the new Weifeng viruses from the garden.

O-glycans included here in the N terminus, but also some "new" ones near the S1/S2 junction. Hard to think that this
is all just coincidence.

Also updating Figure 2, but not quite there yet.

Thanks Bob! There's another close bat CoV on GISAID - PrC31 I think. Also from Yunnan. This is from the China
CDC. Paper being written up apparently.

@Andrew Rambaut - reading the most recent PHE report on VOCs/VOIs (so good!), is it fair to say that non-B.1.1.7
VOCs just aren't that successful in the UK compared to B.1.1.7? Enough data to make that conclusion?
Separately, is it fair to say that B.1.1.7 lineages with mutations such as E484K don't appear to be any more
successful than 'vanilla' B.1.1.7?
