So, the elevated number of changes in this lineage is due to a different evolutionary pathway facilitated by another 'enabling' mutation like Doug (or Phil)? Do you see mutations that are structurally/functionally similar to Doug and Phil? I'm just wondering if this parallel evolutionary process provides some important clues? Does also have a bunch of NSP6 mutations in similar places to the deletion.
