Yes, I approved this at bioRxiv. Still, how it places out in the epidemiological context is way more complicated. To
me, local epidemiology is a far more important driver.

No doubt.

I assume you saw this paper by Shi? Perhaps we even discussed it. Pretty interesting. Notable that Rhinolophus
sinicus bats are in Hubei and have a range of ACE2 receptors. [shared file(s): Journal of

Nope haven't seen it - need to read it!

I've not read it carefully either. Let me know you think.

Eddie Holmes is no longer my friend on Twitter :crying_cat_face: - Eddie, I take this as my queue to shut up...
:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:.
In better news - we can only hope... [pun intended]

Pretty interesting genomic report from New Zealand (confidential for now, I assume) that looks well-reasoned:

This looks weird: https://osf.io/s4td6/ There was a simultaneous outbreak of the zoonotic Nipah henipavirus in
Wuhan - 4 out of 5 patients have the virus in Jinyintan Hospital , along with SARS-Cov2, in their metagenome -
which seems to have resolved by itself

But yes if not prayers we at least have hope! Either he gets it or a HCQ/Azithromycin overdose.

Hmmmm that IS weird. Presumably though, if these reads are real surely they must be contamination from other
sequencing experiments at WIV.
