Looking at the edits now (in case there was anything added and removed). Actually Ian made a lot more edits than I
remembered...

Oh yeah, he actually did - quite a number of them pretty good. Important to get that right - because that's definitely
not what I remember.
As for the GOF though, he's lying. We also have this: [shared file(s): Screen Shot 2022-04-01 at 17.40.44.png]

Yeah but we probably don't want to say 'he didn't warn us' because that just sounds like we didn't know or didn't
agree.

Definitely not. But here's the thing - the work at the WIV is _exactly_ why we considered the lab leak in the first
place! I knew about all the work in BSL-2 - chimeric viruses, cultures, etc - but it seems like Ian didn't.
Plus, no GOF at the WIV.

Some of the nastiest shit out of Alina - hard to believe Broad tolerates this. Parking it here. This is at least 30 Kristian
tweets in 2 days. Unbelievable. [shared file(s): Screen Shot 2022-04-01 at 8.24.44 PM.png, Screen Shot 2022-04-01

Again, Jesse's preprint included an email FOIAd from NIH from a Chinese group without their permission, for which
they had no right to reply and which wasn't even about the data in hand. Who's the bully?

Morally bankrupt.
That's what's so unbelievable about "poor Jesse" - have any of these people thought for a moment about the "poor"
people he's accusing? Which Bob and I had the nerve to point about? I'm sorry, buddy, but it's the other way around
- keep playing the victim all you want.

To my previous point - Eddie, do you remember Ian mentioning anything about GOF?
[2022-04-01 21:50:40]
[Eddie Holmes]
No, that's a complete fabrication. I'm going to challenge him in on it.

Cleaned up the "indel" alignment with delta and BA.1/2. Story holds that many of the mutations are in or near indels.
Highlighted the N-linked glycans as those aso seem to be other areas where some VoC variation takes place. Any
objections to posting this in the virological thread as an update? [shared file(s): image.png]
