NIH? We would propose to say something like:
"The allegations are preposterous and the press release is apparently a hoax. We can find
no firm by this name, and the address provided for the "press conference" is the Chinese
Embassy. We are referring the matter to appropriate authorities for follow-up."

My name's Will Sommer, I'm a reporter with The Daily Beast in DC. There's a press
conference scheduled for next week that's supposed to detail sexual assault allegations
against Dr. Fauci -- it has all the hallmarks for me of a smear campaign from some GOP
operatives, but wanted to flag if the Fauci office has any comment or if this has been
referred to law enforcement for investigation. Attaching the press release below.
