Will mainly be an expose of Bogner - seemingly making things up for ages - but GISAID will clearly be dragged through the dirt I sent him sequence release GISGATE stuff on background

Strictly between us, Science are investigating Bogner. A long history of weirdness and fakery.

GISAID? Can't say that would make me sad. Are they aware of their little "first genome" scam? I have all the proof if they needit.. Just sayin'

Bogner sounds like a complete fantasist I told him the GISAID are getting increasingly out of line

He's such a joke - we're dealing with a whole mountain of GISAID bullshit right now and I'm gonna go to fucking war with them if this continues.

    What are they doing?

Wanting certain language in press releases, wanting us to code shit for them, wanting us to cite very specific papers (that state they released the first genome), etc, etc. Whenever we push back, they threaten to remove access for outbreak.info - same bullshit they have done with pretty much everybody else, including NextStrain. Difference isthat I'm not Trevor and unlike him, I don't give a fuck - burn the house down if that's what it takes! So tired of Peter's bs - and so is everybody else.
