    !channel Got sent this by my deep throat in China. He said "In case I got silenced later on. This is the tree figure based on very partial S gene that I wanted to show you. Hopefully we will get more complete genome later on, will update you". What he didn't say was what animal it was! This is likely part of the gamey tastes project.     Interesting - I assume the sequence of interest is "temp4"? If so, more distant than RaTG13 to SARS-CoV-2, but definitely interesting.

    Yes, temp4. It's S though and only RaTG13 has been close in S (other than the pangolin RBD). I do wonder if they have the FCS??
