They did a dummy study and showed that a cloth mask over a surgical mask actually gives a more complete fit and keeps out aerosols. Biden visited the NIAID VRC today at 3:30 PM on a sleety and snowy day. It was a great visit. I presented to him the history of the VRC and the importance of the work that Barney Graham has done with the stabilized spike protein.
