Yeah. The purpose of the call was to talk
about origins and potential origins. Most of the
discussion was led by the evolutionary biologists, who were
actually probably the most key, important people in the
room. And what they said was that they thought it was

extremely unlikely that there was any evidence of genetic
engineering of the virus, but that they had trouble
distinguishing between natural evolutionary processes in
cell culture versus animals. And that became sort of the
consensus, that it evolved by natural evolutionary
