SC1 has a glycan at 109 that is in the other bat Covs except for RaTG13 and Laos bat 52. It also missing in SC2 spike.

I'm looking closely at N357 (SC1 coordinates), which is the one SC2 looses (N370 in SC2 coordinates). The glycanat N357 interacts with the N322 glycan on ACE2. What's interesting here - Rhinolophus macrotis _does_ _not_ haveN322, unlike most other bats and instead has K322. Now, does the missing N357 glycan in SC2 mean it can livehappily in Rhinolophus macrotis?Maybe: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34018203/

(pangolins also don't have that ACE2 glycan...)

Interesting observation. R. macrotis has a wide geographic range.
