E-dim
-
Surely that's defamation?
-
E-dim. Love it . As for the surface samples. I enquired, and _my own lab_ has actually managed to get full genomes from surface samples... Ct values typically quite strong in the mid-twenties.
-
That was my exact thought. PD is arguably a public figure, which raises the bar quite a bit, but I'm with you. If you'rea public figure you have to prove actual malice. I'd testify that YES this is actual malice.
-
Sure it's doable -which brings us to where the samples were collected. First thing is the market that sold live animals. Just a weird coincidence that that lab leak pops up in the market? Second in the part of the market with the live animals. If the map is correct and the live animals were kept in the circle - then I'd say that's pretty good forensic evidence [even without the grate]. [shared file(s): image.png]
-
Remembering that these samples were taken some time after animals/humans were removed and my not have used optimal procedures (as the virus had not even be identified at this point). As I got those sequences from Weifeng let me see if I can get any more data from him.
-
@Robert Garry A lot of what drives some of the DRASTICs is professional jealousy. Alina is still howling about verifying sequences etc. We got a lot of crap including the Filo15 guy who was going to investigate us because wewere not part of the established VHF club. Deep Throat didn't think that we were "rona" enuff to write PO1.

https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/20/5/31/n12150755. THis is said to be a list of the environmental samples with theRT-PCR results - my chinese is not good enuff. [shared file(s): image.png]
-
Send it to Alina for translation?
-
I'll see what Weifeng says
-
That's a good idea - I was thinking of one of the Asst Profs in the Dept.
-
Better not send to A-loser
-
THis guy: from Wuhan [shared file(s): image.png]
-
Why not. A-loser was my E-dim version of Alina.
-
I'll forward that E-dim interview to Dominic to see if I can stir up some legal rage at WHO

The second column is the location in the seafood market. The third column is where the sample was obtained, such as ground, blood, waste water etc. Ground surface (n=14), door (n=3), wall (n=1), gloves (n=1), sole (n=1), garbage collect truck (n=1), iron cage (n=1), trailer (n=2), freezer inner surface (n=1), fishpack surface (n=1), foam table (n=1), blood water (n=1), waste water (n=1), balance weight (n=1), wheel barrow(n=1).The fourth column is the results of rRT-PCR. The fifth is DNA sequencing of N gene by PCR. The sixth column isDNA sequencing of S gene by PCR. The last column is second generation DNA sequencing. The number in thesecolumns indicates how high the homology is. NA means not detectable or not performed. If there are any questions, please let me know.Regards,Shitao

We know that garbage truck is one of the environmental samples for which there is a sequence. Iron cage stands out to me!
-
Ha, very interesting!

Does anyone understand this 'double mutant' thing from India? I really can't follow this statement: [shared file(s):ExO4ywTUcAEtVrr.jpg]

The statements regarding the 484 and 452 mutations sound crass to me.
