"Seems better than I imagined" Indeed -Eddie - you may have saved them with your "vacation" photos!

"unlikely that that level of CoV RNA would be in those grates from human sources." Yes - the level that ppl find onhospital survaces with dozens of patents in a ward is tiny...
-
Yeah, really good point. Rob Knight has been doing a ton of surface sampling from hospital rooms, rooms with confirmed infections, etc. - teeny tiny amounts of RNA can be found. It's there - but not a lot. Finding a lot of virus RNA on grates would suggest active shedding - probably fecal.

WashPost spinning here. i'm guessing [hoping] White house are smart enough to figure this out - maybe with a little help from Kristian... [shared file(s): Opinion I The Biden administration conf...Wuhan lab claims - The Washington Post.pdf]
-
Nope - I don't believe the current administration is going to be better on this particular point. Was very disappointed talking to Biden's office - they had already bought into the lab claims.
-
Maybe that explains Lander not doing anything with Alina. Sad.
-
But, I think they'll be other opportunities to set the record straight - plus the fact that there are closer viruses out there in nature. Just a question of whether Alina et al. can shut down the work before they are found.
-
Oh, Josh Rogin.... It's amazing you can actually write a full article but without saying anything at all - pure wordsoup.
-
So, the White House no nothing which means there is no security agency information on the lab escape. End of story.
-
Yup - simple as that.
-
One year in and not a single lead suggestion any connection to the lab - which is actually quite remarkable in the sense that they could cook _anything_ up to make it at least _appear_ to be related to lab escape. But they don't even have that.
-
Also, definitely not a conspiracy theorist. Not at all. [shared file(s): Screen Shot 2021-03-09 at 7.31.45 PM.png, Screen Shot 2021-03-09 at 7.33.06 PM.png, Screen Shot 2021-03-09 at 7.33.50 PM.png, Screen Shot 2021-03-09at 7.34.21 PM.png, Screen Shot 2021-03-09 at 7.35.06 PM.png]

"Nature just had a podcast with bad information." Really?
-
Absolutely crazy. Can't wait for that WHO report!
-
yeah - that was the best piece of news today about your raccoon dog pics over the grate correlating the low Cts. Also in the good news category - Weifeng's paper puts several more nails in the coffin containing Alina's GD pangois fake story.
-
Although, of course, I'm going to look like I'm even deeper in the conspiracy....
-
Getting rich off those CCP checks. There are worse things in life. :moneybag::cn:
-
There are indeed. Just can't wait to see that report released now.
-
Yup, same. Some _actual_ expert on that mission and they're going to be thinking VERY hard about how to phrase things so it should be insightful.
