[Kristian Andersen]
The market is basically smack in the middle of the main cluster
[2021-03-29 20:30:57]
[Kristian Andersen]
That line that bisects the cluster is the main river - WIV is South-East of that river, Huanan market North-West

Interesting

I don't suppose they looked into movement patterns? It's sorta interesting that cases South-East have no connection
to the market, while North-West do.

[Kristian Andersen]
If only we had timing on these cases... Where are the early cases? South-East or North-West of the river?
[2021-03-29 20:34:10]
[Kristian Andersen]
Seems like North-West also primarily residential - at least from what I can get from Google Maps (naming of the
districts within the city). [shared file(s): Screen Shot 2021-03-29 at 8.33.14 PM.png]

Good questions
My take on the whole thing is that they clearly think there's an intermediate host and they are holding up the market
as an example of the trade that leads to this transmission
Daszak clearly thinks it the market which is why he sent me the video
There's a lot on the market in the main doc - 2 journos told me they had the same impression
[2021-03-29 20:44:38]
[Kristian Andersen]
Yeah, I get the sense that the Chinese are trying to deflect as much as possible away from the market, not being
concerned with the lab leak because they know it didn't come from there. But it certainly isn't helping - the market,
by far, seems like the most logical explanation.
[2021-03-29 20:47:17]
[Eddie Holmes]
That's it!! Both Daszak and Dominic told me the same - they don't like the market link because it makes them look
'dirty' and undermines their culture
[2021-03-29 20:48:18]
[Eddie Holmes]
Also, if Shi is lying so is Daszak and that would take monumental cajones
[2021-03-29 20:49:02]
[Kristian Andersen]
Yeah, I think they're concerned about potential "wild animal" farming and how that might have led to this -
presumably big industry.
