Unfortunately, November is probably too late to begin processing the samples because our grant is due Dec 7h and we'd want to have the data to include in the preliminary section. Another option is that we could take our chances shipping the samples in lysis buffer with the serum samples on wet ice, and then when Vincent is over in November perhaps he could hand carry the other set of samples in VTM on dry ice? I think you can take up to 2kg with you on commercial flights. Jon Jonathan H. The entire IATA transport system is based on dry ice shipment. Could the reason be a lack of access to dry ice? In that case, I think you can get dry ice from Kinshasa.
