A couple of things as we move towards firming up the June 2nd meeting: 1) There is interesting in doing some (lab) filming during Bill's visit, as part of bolstering the narrative around US R&D funding commitments and its role in global health and beyond. We'd specifically like to explore doing this at the VRC--which would dovetail with panel discussion planned on structure-guided immunogen design. Herewith an electronic handshake with Bose, who is a Science Advisor to Bill, and can follow up on details and permissions. 2) That said, we're now wondering whether the better part of valor is to have the meeting, as before, on the main campus. If there is time, Bill could potentially visit NCAT later in the day. best, Chris K
