Today, when I re-checked the figures, I suddenly had a new concern about the paper. The problem is about the maps of China appearing in the figures. It is not a scientific issue, but we must be very careful about it, because in China some people are extremely strict about the territorial integrity and sovereignty shown in the map. The problems I found include: 1) In figure 1, Shanghai is missing in the map. In the province of Tibet, the region called South Tibet (which is actually controlled by India) is not included. 2) In all three maps, South China Sea is not shown. For Chinese people, a complete map of China should clearly include the South China Sea with a focus on ninedashed line (I attached a model in the PPT for you to know how it should look like). I know it will take you some more time to correct the maps. but please understand this concern. If we don't correct the problems, people may judge that Zhengli, me and our Chinese colleagues are making political mistakes. We don't wish that the maps will become a target of attack from those people. You may know that at this every special and sensitive time when COVID-19 occurs, there are some rumors about the research cooperation on coronaviruses between our lab and the US.
