Dear
-
The Jordan isolate that we received from N3 grew well in cell culture, so
we are preparing to begin some experiments. Thank you for your help in
getting this virus.
From the email correspondence with Dr. Lisa Hensley at the NIAID IRF in
Frederick, I understood that we had your permission to share the virus
with her.
><
Several other people have been asking whether they can get an aliquot. I
am including their names and affiliations below:
Ralph Baric, Univ of North Carolina
Mark Denison, Vanderbilt Univ
Matthew Frieman, Univ of Maryland
Vincent Munster, NIAID Rocky Mountain Lab
All of these investigators have BSL3 (or BSL4 in the case of RML) labs
and are experienced virologists. Please let me know if I can direct them
to you for permission. I would be happy to ship the virus to them if you
cc me.
Thank you again. Please let me know if there are projects that we could
work on together. Is there an effort to do some serosurveys in members of
the military who have been stationed in the region?
Best wishes,
Kanta
