Dear Tony, Hope you are well. Belated congratulations for your superb performance on Colbert. I saw it just recently, and you really held your own and were good. I wanted to invite you to speak at a meeting we are holding called: Ten Years After Anthrax: The Greatest Challenges Ahead for Biosecurity. Its being held on the afternoon of October 4 in Washington DC. In small part it will be to reflect on the state of US biosecurity at the 10 yr anniversary of the anthrax attacks. But for the most part it will be to look forward at the biosecurity policy agenda in the years ahead. We will ask leaders to think ambitiously about the future of biosecurity, and give their views regarding what needs to be done to make progress in the years ahead. Speakers who are now confirmed: Senator Daschle, Senator Talent, Tara O'Toole, Richard Danzig, Andy Weber, George Poste, Heidi Avery, Tom Frieden, and Jeanne Meserve from CNN. We've also invited Peggy Hamburg, Craig Venter, Bill Gates and a few others. It will be a distinguished group, and we expect about 125 attendees. Its being held at the W Hotel in downtown Washington. Let me know if you can join us. All the best Tom at do you think? rmance on Colbert.
