    I have news...from Peter Daszak:

https://twitter.com/klustout/status/1219078782549725184?s=20 "Don't know if I ever sent you this, but it's a link to a CNN video of the Huanan market (allegedly) taken in Dec 2019(allegedly). Report in last stages now. Your statement is in right now, the extra photos are not, but reference to your paper is there. I'm going to dig deeper into this via the Lancet COVID Commission. Confidentially, the fact that China side has fought tooth and nail to remove as much of this stuff about live mammals at Huanan as possible, tells methey know this is the likely pathway. V. interesting tales for a glass when meetings start again...."

"No [the tiling stuff] - all that's out, but I'm going to pull it into the Lancet Covid Commission taskforce I'm running. We'll be following up on some of the WHO leads from the report, including on the live animals in the market issue. We're setting up interviews with key people - would you be willing to be one of them - anonymous or on the record. All good. Report will likely be public Friday or Saturday. 8 hour negotiation with China today on language and details. Brutal -scheduled for a 1 hour meeting, starting at 5am my time... the tile patterning will go into Lancet Covid Commission work (report due near end of year). Also spoke to my FBI buddies and will get videos date stamped and geocoding checked etc. might do some stuff with tile measurementsas well. It's almost as fun as actual science!"

He hasn't replied yet to my question about whether the viral load stuff at various markets sites will be in but I assumeit must be otherwise it will be a waste of time. Sounds like this is all due to pushback from China which is why it isgoing into his Lancet report.

Interesting - and definitely a lot of raccoon dogs in that video - civet cats at the market too? I really, really, really hope the viral load stuff will be in there - it's so critical!

It has to be!! Surely. That's the key evidence.

Any idea about what "tile patterning" means?
  8. 2021-03-23 19:02 Kristian G. Andersen open PDF p.624
    Yeah, what's that about
  9. 2021-03-23 19:06 Edward C. Holmes open PDF p.624
Sorry, that's confusing as I've removed my questions that are interspersed. They used the tile patterning in my phototo find the exact spot where the cage was (on the grate with the high CT value). I asked him if this "tile patterning"detective work was in the WHO report and he said no, it's Lancet Commission. I'm not sure what the 'tilemeasurements' are exactly...perhaps just more evidence the pics are bona fide. That video is pretty amazing.

That video - seems more high risk than handling a tube wearing full PPE. But maybe that's just me.

Yes, that was definitely the MOST risky place in Wuhan. No doubt whatsoever!!

That article Bob shared from Jason Gale is actually really good - just sticks to what we know and what we don't. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-03-04/where-are-we-in-hunting-for-the-coronavirus-s-origin-quicktake

The combo of being anti-lab leak, spot on when it comes to the science, while also playing bluegrass and being fromFort Worth, Texas, I don't know man... Gotta be a rare mix.
