Minor fyi - So, apparently Alina has been throwing a tantrum along with the earth sculpturer/coal miner about the Betsy McKay WSJ article from a few days back. BMcK doing another one and actually more in a series on "origins."

Aw, bless. I hope Betsy doesn't put the rattle back into the pram.

I'm not hopeful. I don't trust Betsy, and more broadly speaking, WSJ.

I also talked to Amy Maxmen at Nature - apparently she's also on to something -

About origins? Amy is good, but some of her stuff is shaky - and her background knowledge can be quite limited attimes (I talked to her about Ebola a long time ago and I was shocked by how little she knew, given that she has written so much about it). But I think she can be trusted - so that's a big plus!

Yeah sorta origins...she might do a podcast...

I think we need the Bob Garry podcast. It's fine we don't have Twitter Garry, but I think the world definitely needs Podcast Garry... Like that German dude.

    Oh, I agree!

I think we call it 'The Bob's Bollocks' (which, to clarify, means it will be ace). I think that would give a more positivevibe than 'Garry's Grumbles'.
