Angie_Rasmussen others still not a fan of it. Your way - small 30 people no placebo trials would be a good screen IMO. High Risk - High Reward US still losing ~1000 per day.

I am not a big fan of the way the RCTs are being managed - not one bit. 30-60,000 people being told to go out and get themselves infected is less ethical than the controlled human challenges - just my opinion.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the RCTs either - I don't think they'll tell us what we need to know robustly and quickly enough. I kinda liked the German experiment where they set up relatively high-risk settings (during a concert) tobetter understand how transmission works. So a strategy that I kinda like here would be akin to a "COVID Party" strictly with people that are vaccinated - no control group. No need to figure out dosing, isolates, etc., which is far from trivial.

I think *any* party in the UK involves copious amounts of exactly that, so that goes without saying... :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
