The visa thing was pure @covidfaker/Nathan Wolfe bullshit. But yes it's difficult to understand the "outbreak culture."

Then there's this rehash of the DRASTIC/alina shit in the London tabloid: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9

And, not sure how it will turn out but I think most of you know that David Quammen is writing some type of book...

One thing for sure an outbreak will make or break a lot of people. Count Alina, Frankie and Covidfaker in the broke
category...

Jesus, will they ever shut up about the miners? Fuck me. Yes, I've spoked to David a few times. He's a good guy:
his book will be all zoonoses. There are going to be a lot of books...

Hopefully, when the Cambobat CoV paper comes out it will provide an opportunity to driven another stake thru the
heart of the miner/RaTG13 BS. Ed Yong is apparently on break, but there are a few other reporters with the chops to
get that story correct.

@Robert Garry Eric Topol just tweeted about your Virological.org post so expect a lot of coverage! Outstanding

@Robert Garry I'm pushing on this. A little tricky...

It's still not clear to me what the WHO team hopes to "investigate." Are they going to seize lab notebooks, go into
hospitals and examine patient records, recover deleted files from computers? Not happening. They also not going to
collect any samples or do any experiments. Are they going to simply try [and fail] to write a "better" version of PO1?
It's no wonder the general public is confused, especially with politicians like Trump and reporting like The Mail.
Another more mainstream example of reporting on the WHO team's Mission Impossible: https://www.theaustralian.c
