Nice person - pretty sure that did not change - but not sure she ever got over the cultural shock that Austin in the
70's was not the "Magic Kingdom." Somewhat obsessive about Mickey, Minnie and Donald.

Thanks. Would be interesting to do a more formal analysis to see if this insertion site is evolving in any way
unusually. Sounds like it is under fairly strong selective constraints.

Yes, she's very nice and entertaining. Haven't seen her for a few years.

Is Bill Gallaher going to formally publish any of this stuff?

Doubtful - he took early retirement about 10 years ago because of heart failure - serious. I think it's reasonably
controlled with better drugs and a new/better pacemaker. Last time I saw him about 6 months ago he looked better
than he had in years. I think he'd be amenable to having "someone" incorporate it into a larger piece, but I don't think
he wants to publish himself.

"strong selective constraints" yes indeed - not at all inconsistent with prior work on CoVs over decades - still - a
formal deep dive would be of considerable value.

Poor guy. He did a great job with this. Would be good to publish it some how.

@Eddie Holmes It's quite endearing how he still calls 3rd positions 'wobble sites'.

That's a relief
