Subject: bat coronavirus genetic data
Hi Peter and Kevin,
Hope all is well.
I'm writing because I was just reading the text of RO1 Al110964, and noticed that the resource sharing section said that all viral
genetic data (presumably the raw sequencing data) would be publicly released no later than 6 months after it was acquired.
I'm very interested in analyzing as much data as possible about coronavirus sequences that were collected in China to better
understand the evolution of SARS-CoV-2. I know Peter has publicly discussed at various times in late 2019 and early 2020 the
discovery of additional ACE2-utilizing coronaviruses not yet published. Given the grants resource sharing terms, I wanted to ask if
you could share those data? I'd of course be happy to collaborate in any analyses.
Thanks,
Jesse
