We will actually be re-working the agenda to have the media briefing at the end of the day's agenda so Mr. Gates will have the opportunity to hear from Senior Leadership and be better prepared for questions from the media. I do not believe that we were intending for ICD to use slides, but rather have an open dialogue with Mr. Gates. Given the time allotted, it would appear that each topic would have between 12 and 15 minutes, and I imagine that the opening comments for each would be up to the lead discussant. I have cc'd Rob Eiss here on this e-mail as he has been working on the format and can relay any ideas that he has received from Dr. Collins. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you need anything further. Rob and I are hoping to hear from remaining ICD before the end of the week to pin down a more accurate agenda. For the lead discussant's opening comments? e Should Dr. Fauci plan to use slides? And any other information on how Dr. Collins envisions this roundtable/working lunch would be helpful.
