There is an interesting concept that is heavily debated among us. Although we all agree that we need to do as described above, we are not fully appreciative of what the decrease in incidents of infection actually means if the current rate of hospitalization and death appears to remain stable. Are we vaccinating people with a boost because we feel that ultimately those increases in infection will lead to increases in hospitalization and deaths, or are we concerned that even if vaccinated people get infected and spread the infection that we are trying to suppress transmission in addition to serious disease.
