Press slamming them for thisand Rochelle and I are being asked about this on every media hit. Had very good discussion with Dr. Soren Brostrom, Director General of the Danish Health Authority Danish representative on the WHO Executive Board AND Lone Dencker Wisborg, Danish Ambassador to USA on Global Health matters and potential collaboration between USA and Denmark in global health security and pandemic preparedness. Also met with Congressman Espaillat regarding variant B.1.526 in his district in NYC. Had back and forth with Jeff and Rochelle regarding the guidelines that CDC is preparing on what people who are vaccinated can and cannot do. Jeff Wants to make sure that I am comfortable with the guidelines. I looked at them in the usual manner the CDC had too many qualifying statements in there that were necessary. Jeff had a problem with putting a vaccinated person in the same room with a person who is not vaccinated and not using masks. I convinced him that we should assume the very small risk and if the person who is not vaccinated is of low risk, then one does not have to wear a mask. Jeff was very sensitive in not having the White House interfere and so he went along with my suggestion that actually agreed with the CDC, except for the fact that they were not precise in their wording can I edited their document some what. The bottom line is that we would say that two vaccinated people can be indoors together in a home setting without masks or physical distancing. In the home setting, where one person is vaccinated and the other person is not, the vaccinated person has a minimal risk and attention
